Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Chinese OR German) Job in Westbury!

Position Summary:
A large and successful company is looking to add people to their customer service team immediately! They are looking for people who are bilingual in English and either Chinese OR German. This company offers excellent benefits and a great work life balance!
The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for order entries and customer inquiries for specific market(s). Clerks receive orders and inquires via phone, mail, EDI, CRM and website.

  • Checks inventory to make sure requested product is available
  • Confirms price and any appropriate discounts
  • Verifies customer information is correct and up-to-date
  • Informs customer of shipping date and any possible delays
  • Notifies appropriate department of order and shipping date
  • Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments.
  • Assists with customer inquiries with Customer Service Representatives
  • Files copies of all orders received
  • Assists with overflow from busy season and scheduling (float)
  • Will be assigned accounts
  • Accounting and order entry skills a plus!
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Must be extremely organized and could multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be either bilingual in German OR Chinese
  • High School Degree required, Associates/Bachelors preferred but not required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
