Personal Banker - FULL-TIME Various Locations Nassau and Suffolk

The Member Service Representative has the opportunity and the responsibility to ""sell"" the products and services and the image of the Credit Union to each member or prospective member encountered daily. The MSR must have a well-rounded knowledge of all policies and procedures and be capable of explaining or discussing these items in detail in an articulate manner. Due to the high visibility of the position, it is imperative that the MSR display a positive and professional attitude at all times, as well as maintain a businesslike appearance. Working as a team player, the Member Service Representative will assist his/her co-workers throughout the Credit Union in achieving total quality and contribute to a friendly and cooperative working environment that supports the NEFCU Rocks Philosophy. This individual should continually look to improve products and services as well as be willing to serve on cross-functional teams to meet our goals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
