Channel Development Manager


Large Retail Corporation in NY needs:
Channel Development Manager
At least 5 years sales and channel development experience with B2B technology provider, preferably enterprise software company.
Very strong technical knowledge of networks and computing infrastructure in the following areas: enterprise software applications, middleware, ERP, database, and other back-end systems
Responsibilities:
will create a new route to market within the existing traditional portfolio of partners.
responsible for the sales of these new technologies by developing and then implementing sales and marketing processes for both the channel and the channel's end customers which in turn will drive incremental revenue and profit
The new technology solutions include but are not limited to business process automations for example P2P and O2C solutions integrated to tier one ERP's
This position is in the Sales group reporting to the Senior Manager of Channel Development Sales. This position is an Individual contributor with no direct reports for this position at time of hire
Identifies key traditional channels to fit the emerging technologies
Develop internal relationships to promote these new technologies
Educate the direct sales teams to help them identify new opportunities within their portfolio of partners
Identify focused verticals within existing partner portfolios and craft specific solutions
Negotiates agreements with channel partners that reflects the partnership objectives while also protecting interests.
Develops and deliver targeted marketing and sales plans
Launch any and all new solutions through this new channel
Supports selling activities in other channels including direct sales
Demonstrates portfolio in partner and industry events and customer calls
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
At least 5 years sales and channel development experience with B2B technology provider, preferably enterprise software company.
Very strong technical knowledge of networks and computing infrastructure in the following areas: enterprise software applications, middleware, ERP, database, and other back-end systems
Deep understanding and experience working with technology distribution channels
Existing relationships with System Integrators and VARs
Knowledge of tier one ERP's and FMS
Professional Solution sales experience
Ability to identify, recruit, train, and motivate channel partners
Knowledge of Streamlining Business Processes
Outstanding presentation skills
Strong writing skills. Able to translate technology features into compelling customer benefits.
Able to demonstrate technology solutions to variety of potential users
This position requires 40% or more travel
This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
Must be able to obtain credit for related travel expenses (lodging, car rental, meals, incidentals, etc.
Base Salry to 100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
