We are looking for a skilled paralegal to assist attorneys and staff with landlord/tenant litigation.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and serving motions, orders to show cause, answers and oppositions with exhibits.
Preparing affidavits.
Entering court dates into the calendar system.
NYSCEF/EDDS filings.
Notifying and following up with clients regarding upcoming court dates and case status.
Drafting letters.
Working closely with attorneys regarding document revisions.
Qualifications:
Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery and litigation documents.
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail.
Knowledge of NYSCEF and EDDS filing systems.
Paralegal Certification or other relevant education/experience.
