Job DescriptionDepartment Overview:
The ISOC team is primarily responsible for the 365x7x24 monitoring, incident triage and response of enterprise-wide issues and events.
The Enterprise Tools team is primarily responsible for the building, maintaining and configuration of the tools used for the monitoring of critical infrastructure for event and fault management.
Together, both teams create IS Operations.
The team investigates the various processes and workflows used within ETS for incident monitoring, triage and response with goals of reducing MTTR, creating value, reducing the error rate and finding new ways to create innovation.

AIOps and Process AutomationMonitoring InnovationNew Metric Data Review and AssessmentsInnovative Solutions Found within new MetricsJob DescriptionProvides first level, on-site and remote communications/network support including diagnosing, configuring and documenting assigned problems in highly available health care environment for assigned site(s).
Responds to communication/network issues affecting health system applications.
Job Responsibility1.
Performs first level diagnostic on-site and remote support for network and communication problems and responds to issues affecting health system applications.
2.
Configures network and communications devices, including but not limited to routers, switches, loadbalancers, and communication servers.
3.
Racks and stacks all communication equipment and performs testing and tracing of network cables.
4.
Maintains accurate system documentation.
5.
Works with service providers as it relates to all network and communication applications.
6.
Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.
7.
Performs related duties as required.

Job QualificationoBachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
