We are seeking seasonal Holding and Loading Team Members.

Essential Functions:
Locate and load sold product (plant material, hard goods, bagged goods) into customer and company vehicles utilizing appropriate equipment.
Maintain and secure sold merchandise (primarily plant material) within assigned zones.
Assist in the transfer of product from selling areas to the Holding and Loading area using equipment such as forklifts (you will be trained!).
Promote the safety of customers, employees and vendors by directing customers and following established processes and procedures.
Assist in the watering and spacing of plant material Assist customers, vendors and co-workers and respond to internal inquiries.
Preserve the organization, tidiness and cleanliness of the customer parking lot and Holding and Loading area.
Position Requirements Must be able to consistently lift 25-50 lbs.
independently and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to push/pull wheeled carts of 400 lbs.

Ability to handle near-constant physical activity required, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, squeezing, and grasping.
High school degree or equivalent Ability to participate in Hicks Nurseries forklift certification (required) Valid, clean driver's license Our Environment Fast-paced and team focused.
Indoor and outdoor activities in all types of weather conditions Loud environment.
Dusty, dirty, muddy work areas.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
